Clustering

Clustering is a way of providing a high-availability solution; it minimizes downtime instead of eliminating it.  The advantages of clustering include, disk sharing and hardware fail over.  One thing clustering doesn’t give you is load balancing.  Windows Server 2008 Enterprise and Data center allows up to 8 nodes in a cluster.
